ISCP Cyprus

Valley View Kennels is the approved centre for the International School of Canine Psychology...

Do you want to study for a career with dogs? Are you already a professional and wish to further expand your knowledge? Or are you simply interested in developing a more harmonious relationship with the dogs in your life? Come and join the ISCP family!

The International School for Canine Psychology & Behaviour has been listed among the top 10 education providers. The ISCP has a reputation for excellence, with students and graduates in over 34 countries whose work with dogs has enriched the lives of many people and their animal companions.

What makes the ISCP special?

In addition to studying from home in your own time, you will receive an outstanding level of feedback and support from your personal tutor, and this support carries on even after you graduate. You can also receive help with your studies from our student liaison team member, and can talk to our mental health support team member about any issues, whether these are dog-related or personal.

Your studies will include practical work with dogs, as well as theory. Uniquely, we provide free optional practical study days where you can meet and work with a tutor and other students.

You’ll be invited to join our ‘positive’ and friendly Facebook group. You’ll also have free access to regular live online webinar tutorials, and recordings of previous tutorials. This is a bonus that very few other educational establishments offer.

You’ll link up with fellow students, graduates and affiliates (experts in animal behaviour) around the world who are eager to share their knowledge and skills. The ISCP actively encourages cooperation and collaboration.

Through the diploma course you will have opportunities to engage in your own research in order to develop more harmonious relationships between people and dogs.

As it’s important to understand and connect with the guardians as well as their dogs, you’ll be given opportunities to learn about Emotional Intelligence (EQ) in dogs and in humans, in addition to your canine behaviour studies.

The course materials are regularly updated to include the latest developments in scientific research in the fields of dog behaviour and psychology, and students are kept informed of new research studies as they’re published.

We are passionate about helping rescue dogs to be successfully rehomed and offer a 50% discount on the diploma course to rescue volunteers. If you are involved in any capacity with a rescue organisation or shelter, please check out this page.

You can enrol on the full diploma course, or you can study up to your level of interest, or you can choose to take the diploma course in three stages.
